Below is a data grid (spreadsheet) from a Publisher Template demo that shows how data can be organized prior to creating a CSV data file from it. Notice that the data are organized in the cells in logical structures/formations/arrangements, which reflect the underlying data model in a way that is easily read by computers and understood by people.
By organizing the data in this manner means there is no need to reorganize (transform) them when it’s time to present reports, which reduces processing requirements and results in very rapid information display when generating dynamic graphs and tables.
Also, the cells can be color-coded, named, and have comments attached, which help people inspect the template model and comprehend the relationships between the pieces of content stored in different cells.
And here's what it looks like when converted to the CSV with the lables removed (the conversion is almost instantenous):
